Geography
The town is located at the confluence of the Ter and Ges Rivers. It is the main town of the Ges valley (Vall del Ges).

Torelló es un municipio y ciudad española perteneciente a la provincia de Barcelona con cerca de 14 000 habitantes situado en la comarca de Osona, en Cataluña, al norte de la subcomarca de la plana de Vich, en la confluencia de los ríos Ges y Ter, a la izquierda de este último y a orillas del Ges. Da nombre al valle de Torelló, también conocido como Vall del Ges, que sigue el curso de este río hasta que se adentra aguas arriba en la comarca del Ripollés, entre las sierras de Bellmunt y Curull por el Forat Micó. Forman parte asimismo del valle de Torelló los municipios de San Vicente de Torelló y San Pedro de Torelló.[ru] Торельо
