Sant Quirze de Besora is a municipality in the comarca of Osona in Catalonia, Spain. It is situated on the banks of the Ter river in the north of the comarca. It is on the main communication route between Barcelona and Puigcerdà, served by the C-17 road and a station on the RENFE railway line. It is also linked to Prats de Lluçanès and the Berguedà by the C-149 road. There is a tradition of textile manufacture in the town, as well as a distillery and a hydroelectric power station.

San Quirico de Besora[1][2][3] (en catalán y oficialmente Sant Quirze de Besora[4] ) es un municipio de Cataluña, España. Perteneciente a la provincia de Barcelona, y desde el año 1989 en la comarca de Osona, en el límite con la del Ripollés, en la subcomarca del Bisaura y a orillas del río Ter. Su escudo representa dos palmas de oro, típico de la localidad, es la población más grande de la subcomarca del Bisaura, con una población que supera los 2100 habitantes. La cima más alta de San Quirico de Besora se encuentra a 742 m.s.n.m., que es el Puig Bufí.[5]
