Knovíz (Czech pronunciation: [ˈknoviːs]) is a municipality and village in Kladno District in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 600 inhabitants.

The Knovíz culture, an archeological culture of late Bronze Age, is named after this site.
Knovíz is located about 7 kilometres (4 mi) north of Kladno and 25 kilometres (16 mi) northwest of Prague. It lies in the Prague Plateau.
The D7 motorway goes through the municipality.
