Refahiye is a town and district of Erzincan Province in the Eastern Anatolia region of Turkey. It covers an area of 1,744 km², and the elevation is 1,589 m. The district has a total population of 10,569 where 3730 live in the town of Refahiye. The mayor is Çakmak Paçacı (AKP).

Refahiye (kurdisch Gercan, armenisch Կերճանիս .mw-parser-output .Latn{font-family:"Akzidenz Grotesk","Arial","Avant Garde Gothic","Calibri","Futura","Geneva","Gill Sans","Helvetica","Lucida Grande","Lucida Sans Unicode","Lucida Grande","Stone Sans","Tahoma","Trebuchet","Univers","Verdana"}Gercanis) ist eine Stadt und zugleich Verwaltungszentrum des gleichnamigen Landkreises in der türkischen Provinz Erzincan und liegt 76 Straßenkilometer (etwa 50 km Luftlinie) westlich der Provinzhauptstadt Erzincan. Die kurdische Namensform Gercan ist vom ursprünglich armenischen Ortsnamen abgeleitet. Die Stadt hieß früher Gercanis[2] und wurde 1940 und 1993 durch Erdbeben beschädigt.
