Muradnagar is a city and a municipal board in Ghaziabad district, Uttar Pradesh, India. It lies about 22 km (14 mi) from Ghaziabad, the district headquarters, and 55 km (34 mi) from Delhi.

Muradnagar has an average literacy rate of 70%, greater than the national average of 60.5%: male literacy is 71%, and female literacy is 55%. In Muradnagar, 15% of the population is under 6 years of age.
In Uttar Pradesh's recent Assembly Elections, Bharatiya Janta Party's (BJP) candidate Ajit Pal Tyagi won the election.
