Chavenay (French pronunciation: [ʃavnɛ] (listen)), also known as Vallon de Chavenay, is a commune in the Yvelines department in the Île-de-France region in north-central France. It is located close to Saint-Nom-la-Bretèche, Saint-Germain-en-Laye, and Versailles.
