In the 2021 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada, Rush Lake had a population of 55 living in 29 of its 35 total private dwellings, a change of 3.8% from its 2016 population of 53. With a land area of 0.7 km2 (0.27 sq mi), it had a population density of 78.6/km2 (203.5/sq mi) in 2021.[8]
In the 2016 Census of Population, the Village of Rush Lake recorded a population of 53 living in 27 of its 27 total private dwellings, a -22.6% change from its 2011 population of 65. With a land area of 0.74 km2 (0.29 sq mi), it had a population density of 71.6/km2 (185.5/sq mi) in 2016.[9]
