According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 49.25 square miles (127.6 km2), of which 49.03 square miles (127.0 km2) (or 99.55%) is land and 0.22 square miles (0.57 km2) (or 0.45%) is water.[2]
The township contains these four cemeteries: Calvary, Linwood, Mound and Twin Pines.
