Moro is an unincorporated community in Madison County, Illinois, United States. Moro, like all of Madison County, is part of the Illinois Metro-East region of the Greater St. Louis metropolitan area. Whilst still being in the Metro-East, Moro is located on the edge of the urban northeast extent of it. Moro is 2 miles (3.2 km) northeast of Bethalto, and 1.8 miles (2.9 km) northwest of Meadowbrook. Moro has a post office with ZIP code 62067.[2] The population of Moro in 2019 was estimated at 3,483.[3]
