Geography

Mahomet is Township 20 North, Range 7 East of the Third Principal Meridian.

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 33.24 square miles (86.1 km²), of which 32.95 square miles (85.3 km²) (or 99.13%) is land and 0.28 square miles (0.73 km²) (or 0.84%) is water.[2]
