Haughton is a town in Bossier Parish, Louisiana, United States. The population was 4,539 in 2020.[2] It is part of the Shreveport–Bossier City metropolitan statistical area.

Haughton is located 15 miles (24 km) east of Bossier City and 17 miles (27 km) east of Shreveport. Interstate 20 touches the northwestern corner of the town, with access from Exit 33 (Elm Street).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 5.3 square miles (13.6 km2), all land.[3]
The climate in this area is characterized by hot, humid summers and generally mild to cool winters. According to the Köppen Climate Classification system, Haughton has a humid subtropical climate, abbreviated "Cfa" on climate maps.[4]
