El Clot is a neighborhood in the Sant Martí district of Barcelona, Catalonia (Spain). It is one of the oldest parts of the district that has been around since the medieval times under the name Clotum Melis (Clot de la Mel). It was one of the parts of the former municipality of Sant Martí de Provençals, as were the current neighborhoods of el Poblenou and Sant Martí de Provençals.

El Clot es un barrio actual y tradicional del distrito de Sant Martí (Barcelona, España) y cuyo núcleo es uno de los más antiguos del distrito. Desde 2006 su delimitación está entre las calles Dos de Mayo, Aragón, Meridiana, Navas de Tolosa, Mallorca, Espronceda, y la Gran Vía de las Cortes Catalanas. En este barrio se localiza la Sede del Consejo Municipal del Distrito (Consell Municipal del Districte), en el mismo edificio que fuera sede del Ayuntamiento del antiguo municipio de Sant Martí de Provençals.
