Barcelonès (Catalan pronunciation: [bəɾsəluˈnɛs]) is the most economically important comarca (county) of Catalonia, Spain. Its capital is Barcelona, which is also the capital of Catalonia. Notwithstanding, the comarca does not have a governing comarcal council; it was dissolved in 2017.
