The municipality of Belorado is made up of six towns: Belorado (seat or capital), Avellanosa de Rioja, Eterna, Puras de Villafranca, Quintanaloranco, Loranquillo and San Miguel de Pedroso.
Belorado is known for the annual Feria Alfonsina festival.[2] The village also attracts hikers along the Camino de Santiago trail from Najera.[3]
In the town is the Church of Santa Maria.[4]

Belorado es una localidad y un municipio español perteneciente a la provincia de Burgos, comunidad autónoma de Castilla y León. Ubicado al este de la provincia, próxima a La Rioja y en la falda de la Sierra de la Demanda, al pie de los Montes de Ayago. Se encuentra situado en la comarca de Montes de Oca, partido judicial de Briviesca, a 47,3 Kilómetros de Burgos. Su principal cauce fluvial es el río Tirón (afluente del Ebro), que nace en la Sierra de la Demanda burgalesa. Es la capital de la subcomarca llamada La Riojilla Burgalesa. En 2019 contaba con 1781 habitantes censados, según los datos oficiales del INE.[1][ru] Белорадо
