Meshgin Shahr County (Persian: شهرستان مشگینشهر) is a county in Ardabil Province in Iran. The capital of the county is Meshgin Shahr. This city can be also called Meshgin City due to Meshgin Shahr meaning City For Shahr.[1] As of the 2016 census, the county's population was 149,941 with 45,999 households.[2] The county is divided into four districts: Arshaq District, the Central District, Meshgin-e Sharqi District, and Moradlu District. The county has six cities: Meshgin Shahr, Razi, Fakhrabad, Moradlu, Qasabeh and Lahrud.
