Novi Vinodolski [ˈnɔːʋi ˈʋinɔdɔl.ski] (Novi del Vinodol oder Novi in Valdivino[1] auf Italienisch) ist eine Stadt an der kroatischen Adriaküste, unweit von Rijeka und Crikvenica. Aufgrund des Weinbaus rund um die Stadt erhielt Vinodolski ihren Namen (Vinodol = Weintal). Der Volkszählung von 2011 zufolge beträgt die Einwohnerzahl von Novi Vinodolski 5113 Einwohner.

Die Ortschaft hat eine sehr reichhaltige Geschichte aufzuweisen. Unter anderem war Novi Vinodolski Sitz der Herzöge von Bribir, damals noch ein Nachbarort von Novi Vinodolski, und auch das berühmte kroatische Adelsgeschlecht der Frankopanen (ung. Frangépan) siedelte sich hier an. Ein berühmtes Dokument ist der Vinodolski zakonik, das Gesetzbuch von Vinodol.

Die Tourismusbranche beherrscht die Wirtschaft. Hotels, Zeltlager, Bungalows, Appartements, Zimmer in Privathäusern und Nebenwohnungen können 10.000 Touristen unterbringen. Die Stadt bietet Freizeiteinrichtungen und Sportanlagen an. Das Vinodoltal ist berühmt für Weinherstellung. Die im Gebiet hergestellten Weine ähneln denen von der benachbarten Insel Krk, Žlahtina ist die Hauptsorte. Zusätzlich wird Cabernet Sauvignon und Chardonnay produziert. Seit den 1990er Jahren wurde die Weinherstellung wesentlich gefördert.

Der Stadthafen enthält einen Bootssteg.

Novi Vinodolski (pronounced [nɔ̂v̞iː v̞ǐnɔdɔːlskiː], often also called Novi or Novi del Vinodol o Novi in Valdivino[3] in Italian) is a town on the Adriatic Sea coast in Croatia, located south of Crikvenica, Selce and Bribir and north of Senj. The population of Novi is 3,988, with a total of 5,131 people in the city administered area. The city area became a Frankopan property in the 13th century, marking the period to which the most valuable heritage is dated, including the Law codex of Vinodol. City hinterland is dominated by the Vinodol Valley, used for agriculture and winemaking. The city's economy is dominated by tourism, as Novi Vinodolski is well known tourist centre situated in an area largely unaffected by other types of industry and it offers a wide variety of tourist amenities. The Vinodol Valley is also the site of a hydroelectric power plant utilizing water collected in Gorski Kotar reservoirs. Transport links of the city are substantially dependent on the nearby city of Rijeka.
