Zorakert (Armenian: Զորակերտ) is a village in the Shirak Province of Armenia. The village was populated by Azerbaijanis before the exodus of Azerbaijanis from Armenia after the outbreak of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.[1][page needed]

According to 1912 publication of the Caucasian Calendar, 398 Karapapakhs lived in Balykhly village of the Kars Okrug of the Kars Oblast within the Russian Empire.[2]
