Ardenis (Armenian: Արդենիս) is a village and rural community (municipality) in the Shirak Province of Armenia.

The village had a mixed Armenian-Azerbaijani population. During the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the Azerbaijani residents left for Azerbaijan.[1]
In 1896 the village had 285, in 1897 - 406, in 1926 - 457, in 1939 - 595, 1959 - 703, in 1970 - 1072, in 1979 - 1091 Armenian and Azerbaijani residents.[1]
According to 1912 publication of the Caucasian Calendar, 335 people, mainly Karapapaks, lived in village Gollu of Kars Okrug of Kars Oblast.[2]
The National Statistical Service of the Republic of Armenia (ARMSTAT) reported its population was 177 in 2010,[3] up from 132 at the 2001 census.[4]
