History


Much of the community was destroyed by the Valley Fire in September, 2015.[3]


Government


In the California State Legislature, Whispering Pines is in the 2nd Senate District, represented by Democrat Mike McGuire, and in the 4th Assembly District, represented by Democrat Cecilia Aguiar-Curry.[4]

In the United States House of Representatives, Whispering Pines is in California's 5th congressional district, represented by Democrat Mike Thompson.[5]
