According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 59.83 square miles (155.0 km2), of which 59.79 square miles (154.9 km2) (or 99.93%) is land and 0.04 square miles (0.10 km2) (or 0.07%) is water.[2]
The township contains these nine cemeteries: Bob Doan, Dial, Dunkard, Mount Moriah, Post Oak, Ranson, Rhodes Family, Rogers and Spring Hill.
