Hamlet (also Telmat)[2] is an unincorporated community in Marin County, California.[1] It is located on the northeast shore of Tomales Bay and the Northwestern Pacific Railroad 3 miles (4.8 km) south-southwest of Tomales,[2] at an elevation of 23 feet (7 m).[1]

A post office operated at Hamlet from 1876 to 1886.[2] The Telmat post office operated from 1917 to 1931.[2]
