Samput is an accessible barangay situated along the MacArthur Highway. It is approximately 145 km (90 mi) away from the country's capital, Manila. Buses, Jeepneys and other PUVs are available in the area. Large vehicles and other private vehicles are allowed to pass through the area. A railway system (specifically the Philippine National Railway (PNR)) also passes through this area but it is no longer functional.
