Sanandaj County (Persian: شهرستان سنندج) is a county in the Kurdistan Province of Iran. Its capital is Sanandaj. At the 2016 census, the county's population was 501,402, in 152,532 families.[1] The county is subdivided into two districts: the Central District and Kalatrazan District. The county has two cities: Sanandaj and Shuyesheh.
