Küyü or Kivi (Persian: کیوی or کویو, also Romanized as Kīvī; also known as Givi گیوی )[2] is a city in and the capital of Kowsar County, Ardabil Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 6,467, in 1,721 families.[3] Earlier, Kivi was divided into upper and lower Kivi: Düz küyü[4] (کیوی بالا) and Aşaği küyü[5] (كيوی پائين).

Kivi or küyü is situated in the center of a newly established county (one of the five regions of Khalkhal historically and separated from Khalkhal County in a previous decade), with an area of 1,243.8 square kilometres (480.2 sq mi). It borders Ardabil to the north, Khalkhal to the south, Hashtpar in Gilan Province to the east, and Mianeh to the west in East Azerbaijan Province.
