The 1961 census recorded Khaliqpur Kalan as comprising 4 hamlets, with a total population of 590 people (300 male and 290 female), in 129 households and 129 physical houses.[4] The area of the village was given as 494 acres.[4]
The 1981 census recorded Khaliqpur Kalan (as "Khalikpur Kalan") as having a population of 760 people, in 189 households, and having an area of 203.55 hectares.[3] The main staple foods were listed as wheat and rice.[3]
