Rosenau [.mw-parser-output .IPA a{text-decoration:none}ˈʀoːzənaʊ̯] ist eine Gemeinde mit etwas mehr als 900 Einwohnern im Landkreis Potsdam-Mittelmark in Brandenburg. Sie entstand schon 2001 vor der brandenburgischen Gemeindegebietsreform 2003 durch den freiwilligen und gleichberechtigten Zusammenschluss der Gemeinden Rogäsen, Viesen und Warchau und der Eingliederung von Zitz. Der Name ist eine Wortschöpfung aus Silben der Dorfnamen Rogäsen, Viesen und Warchau. Zu Rosenau gehört auch das Dorf Gollwitz. Rosenau gehört zum Amt Wusterwitz.
