Sie entstand als Commune nouvelle mit Wirkung vom 1. Januar 2016 durch die Zusammenlegung der früheren Gemeinden Aix-en-Othe, Palis und Villemaur-sur-Vanne, die seither in der neuen Gemeinde über den Status einer Commune déléguée verfügen.
