Strukov lies approximately 16 kilometres (10 mi) north of Olomouc. It is located in the Upper Morava Valley.
With an area of 0.53 square kilometres (0.20 sq mi), it is the second smallest municipality in the country, after Závist.[2]
Strukov was founded in 1789.[3]
