The village of Želkovice is an administrative part of Libomyšl.
Libomyšl is located about 11 kilometres (7 mi) southwest of Beroun and 38 km (24 mi) southwest of Prague. It lies on the Litavka river in the Hořovice Uplands.
The first written mention of Libomyšl is from 1370.[2]
