Kařez lies approximately 17 kilometres (11 mi) north-east of Rokycany, 31 km (19 mi) east of Plzeň, and 55 km (34 mi) south-west of Prague.

Transport

The municipality is located on a train line leading from Prague to Plzeň. There is a train station which is served by regional trains.
