Santa María es un municipio colombiano ubicado en el noroccidente del departamento del Huila. Yace sobre las estribaciones de la cordillera central. Comprende la cuenca alta del río Baché y un sector de la cuenca alta del río Saldaña; drenando sus aguas al río Magdalena.
