The municipality contains the 1,487 hectares (3,670 acres) Águas Quentes State Park, the first protected area in Mato Grosso, which is known for the healing powers of its thermal waters.[3]

Santo Antônio de Leverger, amtlich portugiesisch Município de Santo Antônio de Leverger, vereinfacht nur Leverger genannt, ist eine brasilianische Gemeinde im Bundesstaat Mato Grosso. Die Bevölkerungszahl wurde zum 1. Juli 2020 auf 16.999 Einwohner geschätzt, die auf einer großen Gemeindefläche von rund 9442,5 km² leben und wahlweise Santo-Antonienser (santo-antonienses) oder Levergenser (levergenses) genannt werden.[1] Die Bevölkerungsdichte wurde mit 1,5 Personen pro km² berechnet. Sie gehört zur geostatistischen Großregion Região Centro-Oeste. Die Entfernung zur Hauptstadt Cuiabá beträgt 27 km, Leverger ist Teil der Metropolregion Vale do Rio Cuiabá.
