Wichelen (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈʋɪxələ(n)] (
listen)) is a municipality located in the Denderstreek in the Belgian province of East Flanders. The municipality comprises the towns of Schellebelle [nl], Serskamp [nl] and Wichelen proper. In 2021, Wichelen had a total population of 11,690. The total area is 22.87 km².[2]
