About 20 km north lies Gänserndorf, about the same distance east lies Marchegg, south is Hainburg and west is Vienna.

Haringsee ist eine Gemeinde mit 1172 Einwohnern (Stand 1. Jänner 2022) im Marchfeld in Niederösterreich. In Haringsee besteht eines der größten und modernsten Kulissenlager weltweit. In 9 Hallen auf insgesamt 71.498 m² lagern 200 Bühnenproduktionen. 110 davon für die Staatsoper, 40 für die Volksoper und 50 für Burg- und Akademietheater.
