According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 43.07 square miles (111.6 km²), of which 43.03 square miles (111.4 km²) (or 99.91%) is land and 0.04 square miles (0.10 km²) (or 0.09%) is water.[1] The stream of Lewis Branch runs through this township.
