Limestone is a village in Limestone Township, Kankakee County, Illinois, United States. It was incorporated in 2006[2] and had a population of 1,598 at the 2010 census.[3]

The village is part of the Kankakee–Bradley Metropolitan Statistical Area, which comprises all of Kankakee County.
Limestone village is in central Kankakee County, 6 miles (10 km) west of Kankakee, the county seat, via Illinois Route 17. According to the 2010 census, the village has a total area of 2.18 square miles (5.65 km2), all land.[4]
