La Coma is a census-designated place (CDP) in Webb County, Texas, United States. This was a new CDP formed from parts of the Laredo Ranchettes CDP prior to the 2010 census with a population of 48.[1]

La Coma is located at 27°30′10″N 99°18′5″W (27.502878, -99.301498). The CDP has a total area of 1.2 square miles (3.1 km2), all land.[3]
Residents are in the United Independent School District.[4] Zoned schools include: Freedom Elementary School,[5] Raul Perales Middle School,[6] and United South High School.[7]
The designated community college for Webb County is Laredo Community College.[8]
