History

The Melville F. McHaffie Farm was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.[4] The former Mill Creek Township consolidated with Jefferson Township in the mid-1930s.[5]

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 41.1 square miles (106 km²), all land.[3]
