Jackson Township is one of fifteen townships in DeKalb County, Indiana. As of the 2010 census, its population was 3,064 and it contained 1,155 housing units.[3]

Jackson Township was founded in 1838.[4]

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 35.59 square miles (92.2 km²), of which 35.4 square miles (92 km²) (or 99.47%) is land and 0.19 square miles (0.49 km²) (or 0.53%) is water.[3] Dunton Lake is in this township.
