Godfrey is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Morgan County, in the U.S. state of Georgia.[1]

It first appeared as a CDP in the 2020 Census with a population of 108.[2]
The community was named after Dr. Ervine Godfrey, a pioneer settler.[3] A post office called Godfrey was established in 1889, and remained in operation until 1965.[4] The Georgia General Assembly incorporated the place as the "Town of Godfrey" in 1906.[5] The town's charter was dissolved in 1995.[3]
