    Alaplı (in der Antike Keles oder Cales) ist eine Stadt und Hauptort des gleichnamigen Landkreises der türkischen Provinz Zonguldak in der Schwarzmeerregion. Hier mündet der gleichnamigen Flusses Alaplı ins Schwarze Meer. Alaplı liegt etwa 59 Straßenkilometer (Luftlinie: 45 km) südwestlich der Provinzhauptstadt Zonguldak und wurde 1966 in den Rang einer Belediye (Gemeinde) erhoben.

    Alaplı is a town and district of Zonguldak Province in the Black Sea region of Turkey. It is the westernmost town in Zonguldak Province and is located about 15 km (9.3 mi) south of Karadeniz Ereğli. It has 2 municipalities, one is the centre and the other is named as "Gümeli". The mayor is Nuri Tekin (CHP).
