Yarımca is a belde (town) in Kovancılar district of Elazığ Province, Turkey. It is situated to the north of Keban Dam resorvoir at 38°40′N 39°46′E.The distance to Kovancılar is 12 kilometres (7.5 mi). The population of Yarımca was 1689 [1] as of 2013. The town is populated by Kurds.[2]

The town is a new settlement. It was moved from its former location which is now a part of Keban Dam reservoir in 1974. The settlement was declared a seat of township in 1972. Town is a mining town which depends on the Etikrom chrome mines. Fishing and irrigated agriculture are among the other economic sectors.[3]
