Musques[3] (en euskera y oficialmente, Muskiz) es un municipio del territorio histórico de Vizcaya, País Vasco (España). Forma parte de la comarca del Gran Bilbao y de la subcomarca de la Zona Minera. Sin embargo, desde una perspectiva histórica, el antiguo concejo formó parte del Valle de Somorrostro, entidad desaparecida en 1805 y que constituía una de las diez repúblicas en las que se dividían Las Encartaciones a diferencia de la Tierra Llana de Vizcaya.
