La Codoñera (La Codonyera en catalán)[3] es un municipio de la provincia de Teruel, en la Comunidad Autónoma de Aragón, España. Tiene una población de 374 habitantes (INE 2008). La villa, que comprende toda la población del municipio, está a unos 800 m a la derecha del río de Mezquin, y está asentada en una llanura, al pie del monte de Santa Bárbara.[4]
