Valea Lupului is a commune in Iași County, Western Moldavia, Romania. From 2004, it is part of the Iași metropolitan area. The commune is composed of a single village, Valea Lupului.

The settlement is located on the right side of the national road No.28 Iași - Pașcani. The centre of the commune is located south at a distance of about 3 km. From Păcureț hamlet, about 1 km away from Iași, the village stretches along the southeast coast of the Beldiman plateau and on the slopes of the hill that descends from Valea Prisacii.
