Zawierz [ˈzavjɛʂ] (German: Zagern)[1] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Braniewo, within Braniewo County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland, close to the border with the Kaliningrad Oblast of Russia.[2] It lies approximately 3 kilometres (2 mi) south of Braniewo and 77 km (48 mi) north-west of the regional capital Olsztyn.
