Silec [ˈɕilɛt͡s] (German: Schülzen)[1] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Srokowo, within Kętrzyn County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland, close to the border with the Kaliningrad Oblast of Russia.[2] The area lies approximately 6 kilometres (4 mi) south of Srokowo, 15 km (9 mi) north-east of Kętrzyn, and 81 km (50 mi) north-east of the regional capital Olsztyn.

Silec ([.mw-parser-output .IPA a{text-decoration:none}ˈɕilɛt͡s], deutsch Schülzen) ist ein Dorf und Sitz eines Schulzenamtes (polnisch sołectwo) in der polnischen Woiwodschaft Ermland-Masuren. Es gehört zum Gmina Srokowo (Landgemeinde Drengfurth) im Powiat Kętrzyński (Kreis Rastenburg). Zum Schulzenamt gehören die Ortschaften Podlasie (Louisenhof), Siemkowo (Terra) und Silecki Folwark (Gut Schülzen).[3]
