Popowo [pɔˈpɔvɔ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Tłuchowo, within Lipno County, Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, in north-central Poland.[1] It lies approximately 7 kilometres (4 mi) south-west of Tłuchowo, 24 km (15 mi) south-east of Lipno, and 65 km (40 mi) south-east of Toruń.

Every Sunday we walked four miles to church, and along the way we prayed before all those statues of the Virgin spread out along the road from Popowo to Chalin.
