Pogorzelce [pɔɡɔˈʐɛlt͡sɛ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Białowieża, within Hajnówka County, Podlaskie Voivodeship, in north-eastern Poland, close to the border with Belarus.[1] It lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) west of Białowieża, 16 km (10 mi) east of Hajnówka, and 62 km (39 mi) south-east of the regional capital Białystok. It lies 1 km west of the river Narewka.
