Bitkowo [bitˈkɔvɔ] (German: Bittkowen)[1] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Gołdap, within Gołdap County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland, close to the border with the Kaliningrad Oblast of Russia.[2] It lies approximately 17 kilometres (11 mi) south-east of Gołdap and 142 km (88 mi) east of the regional capital Olsztyn.
